I'm Jess.

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where I studied English Lit and Educational Policy Studies. I've spent every college summer working at a summer camp in the mountains of Colorado, and that has turned me in to a Fort Collins transplant. I'm working one step at a time towards becoming a high school English teacher.

My favorite things include fresh peaches, NPR, and the smell of lavender. I'm inherently a quality over quantity person in every area of my life- clothes, food, relationships. The only exception to that rule may be red wine. In Madison, the Trader Joe's employees knew me by name because of my frequent purchases of $2.99 Merlot.

My favorite books fall primarily within 20th century American Lit and my favorite movies are You've Got Mail and Midnight In Paris. I am committed to far too many television shows. I could be convinced to do just about anything if the proposition was accompanied with a bouquet of flowers, and I think Chinese take out might be my love language.
